Established in 1985, KB Contractors are at the forefront of trenchless technology and operate with a team of over 50 experienced staff. An Accredited Contractor to the Dunedin City Council, Invercargill City Council and Waitaki District Council, KB Contractors work complete projects for gas and water reticulations, telecommunications networks, subdivisions, drainage work and more.

Specialising in directional drilling, excavations, pipe bursting, steel pipe removal, thrust boring, butt and fusion welding, steel pipe ramming, ground-penetrating radar and hydro excavation. Based in Mosgiel, KB Contractors complete projects across Otago and Southland and the lower South Island.

The retirement village is an extensive undertaking, the 20ha site has approximately 380 units, a hospital and a dementia ward, along with a wide number of proposed leisure activities including indoor bowls, a cinema, café, hairdressers and more.
